We Need HD TV

Unifi, my internet provider here is celebrating their first year of service and because of that they are opening up their premium channels for free viewing for a month. Unfortunately for us,  because the shows are best viewed using a HD or LCD tv, like samsung tvs lcd, the image quality that we get out of the show is not very satisfying. The images flicker and prolong viewing really irritates the eyes. Well that’s what you get for owning a tv that is like 5 years old! lol! We need new tv!

Site Intermittently Down

The company that I’m hosting with, blue host, just had a server upgrade and because of that my sites are just not stable now. It might be up one minute and down the next. I hope that is a temporary thing as sites giving errors are not very SEO and visitors friendly.

I would hate to have to move hosting for sure as it is time consuming and I just don’t have the time to fiddle with my own blogs these days. .. but if need be.. well..

That being said, please forgive the occasional errors that you might receive these few days when you visit my site. Thanks!

11 Year of Bliss

11 years ago, this time me and my soulmate were married. That seems such a huge number but it seems like only yesterday I remember meeting him for the very first time. In fact when Emila was driving up the JW Marriott hotel driveway, for the perfume launch the other day, I was again momentarily transported to that day that I saw Azwaj in his car waiting for me. Ahh.. memories..

Our marriage went through the usual ups and downs as all other marriages do but through it all.. love held strong and here we are all.. celebrating our 11th year as man and wife.. I will love you forever and may Allah bless this union till death do us part..Ameen

A Challenged Three Months

2011 has so far been very challenging for me in terms of health.

In January, my cysts started acting up which caused me nearly one week of downtime and torture. Earlier this month I had a severe case of diarrhea which saw me rushing to the toilet every 5minutes and another week of downtime.. and just today I have been peeing non-stop and each session, sting.  Not sure what was the cause but I am suspecting my body was dehydrated. I drank like a mug of water every 10minutes and that seemed to help with the situation. Boy, am I glad I’m not working for anyone and rushing off to my 9 to 5 job like before. If I were my boss, I’d fire me! lol!

My client just emailed me asking when I can start working on  her e-commerce site again. I took time off because of Aggie’s surgery and she has been nice enough to hold off any jobs. It also helped because she needed some time off herself to concentrate on her own online degree programs. Yeap, I really envy her, doing online degree programs and running an online store.. how awesome right?

Anyway..I hope no more illness come my way this 2011. I think I had enough of being sick already 🙁

Dilemma

I need some nice modern furniture in my home but most often then not, I always think twice as I know the moment the furniture comes in, they are gonna be scratching post for the kitties. This is happening now and I’m sure it will happen again. In fact, when our current sofa was delivered about a  year ago, someone or rather some kitty actually peed on it. Luckily A saw the puddle and managed to clean it off before it really seeped into the cushion. See the dilemma?

I really love this lounge chair though.. sigh..

Accessories Shopping

I can’t believe I’m 24years old already this year! lol!.. Actually you should turn the number the other way and that is my actual age. Usually for my birthday I would buy something nice for myself simply because I love ME. lol!

Last year I bought a nice handbag. One that till today still remain my favorite. This year I bought a new handphone, HTC Desire HD to reward myself for a job well done. However I still have not complete the accessories for that. For instance, it is still lacking a gorgeous cover for protection. I also think I need additional battery and a desktop charger.

Perhaps after this I will go stop by at Coupon Chief and see if they have any coupons for the above items. I understand being one of the largest databases of online coupons on the net, they have over 50k coupons for over 15000 stores. I just saw a Cellular Factory coupon that would give me 15% off any order. OMG! If I owned a iPhone, I will go crazy with at the site.

Land Of Make Believe

I was watching Grey’s Anatomy the other day and there was an episode where Derek was asking Meredith on where they were gonna place their clawfoot tub in the bathroom of the house he was building for them. How awesome is that. .. to be able to build your own house and decide what room goes where depending on the view of the land right?

If you watch Grey’s Anatomy, you know that Dr Derek Shepherd has a huge land overlooking the city and since he is earning like millions of dollars each year, he can afford to build the dream house for him and his wife, Meredith, of course.

Well, that is the land of make believe and in the land of make believe everything and anything is possible. Nuff said.

A Tortured Day

Since 11pm on Friday, I’ve been rushing non-stop to the bathroom doing my big business. Yeap.. I’ve having a bad case diarrhea. The kind that comes out without my control and the kind that makes an appearance even when I shift in my chair! Yikes indeed right? I only puke once but after that I did feel somewhat better. The diarrhea is still going on even now though it’s not as bad as earlier today so I did manage to get some shut eye.

Azwaj has been a fantastic caregiver, massaging my back when I was feeling nauseous, making me porridge and tea and if ever he was on for a health care job search, I’m sure he will be fantastic at it!

Ignorance is Bliss

My condo area is very quiet at night because we are so far away from roads and highways and we are surrounded by a forest. However, the sound coming from the woods too can be frightening and sometimes I wished I had one of those night time scopes that I can use to see what is causing all those noise. Azwaj said it was probably all the monkeys but curious me wants to know for sure….hehehe.. but what if one day I do see something and it wasn’t monkey but something else instead? Hmm.. maybe ignorance is bliss?
