Move Move Move

When mommy first arrived, we jokingly told her that since she’s here, she is so gonna help us with our packing for our upcoming move. No, it’s not to any Wilmington NC real estate but rather just about 30minutes away from where we currently live. She was shocked initially but then that turned to excitement as we brought her to the new apartment. In fact, she actually asked where the boxes were.. LOL! I had to tell her that we were just joking about the packing bit and that we will start packing once she returns home to Singapore.

She’s already planning a Hari Raya trip down. How awesome is that?!

Today is our 9th wedding anniversary. Time sure flies when you’re in marital bliss they always say and in our case, it rings true. We’ve had our ups and downs as any married couple would go through but we held on to our love and persevered through it all.

I remember our wedding day so vividly. Though it was raining, that didn’t dampen the mood of the happy and momentous occasion. Food was served, music was played and the especially prepared “Pantun” by Abah was read out loud and clear. Yes.. I remember it all, just like I remember our fight first, our first make up and lots of our other firsts ;)….
