question mark

Everyday I walk. I walk from my bedroom to the kitchen. I walk from my kitchen to the living room and I walk from the living room to the kitty room. Then I walk some more. I walk from my front door to the garbage room near the lift lobby and I walk from the lift lobby to the mailboxes to get my letters. Then more walking involved as I climb down and up the stairs to the parking lot where Azwaj park his motobike whenever we need to go out.

So after all this walking, I ask you, isn’t it the same as walking on the treadmills and if so why am I not losing weight?

Thoughts?

Frustrated

It seems that I am complaining about RHB non-stop these days! First was the stupid cheque deposit machine that was INSIDE their bank branch which means I can’t deposit cheque outside banking hours. Then it was their policy of making bank accounts dormant after six months of inactivity and made me waste time going to their counters to reactivate it to deposit money and NOW …..

NOW…. a cheque that I deposited at another branch of theirs in Pandan on Sunday only appeared in my account today (Thursday) only to show a TWO day float.. which means I can only access the money on Saturday.. God willing! I don’t even want to think if they consider Saturday a non-banking day which will only mean I can access my money on Monday or Tuesday!!! One bloody week to clear a cheque!?!! UNHEARD OF!!!! and totally UNACCEPTED!!!!

Argh.. I miss Singapore!!!!

When people come to the apartment, most of them would comment on how peaceful and tranquil the area is. I guess having a forest for your front yard has that effect. Just this morning, as I was washing the dishes, I noticed a family of monkeys eating on the trees without a care in the world and they were totally oblivious to me watching them. Such confidence that no one can and will hurt them.

East Coast Beach

When I was in Singapore, I lived near the beach. It’s not like Myrtle beach vacation rentals but our flat was only a few minutes away from the sea and I used to enjoy the sea breeze and the occasional bicycle ride there. Ahh… missed that place.. Good news is.. I’m going back soon to visit my mommy. Yeay!!
