Hot and Sweaty

What I got when I googled Hot and Sweaty! Swoon!!!

Woke up this morning feeling all hot and sweaty.

We didn’t switch on the aircon this morning as it was nice and cool when we went to bed. To just make sure we have proper ventilation, we switched on the fan and dehumidifier. Then why hot and sweaty, you asked? Because the fan wasn’t swinging my way. The weather had gotten hot and the the fan was facing the wall instead! Argh!!

Oh.. by the way.. Happy Mother’s Day to all mommy around the world.. You rock!

The Memory Lives On

Mama passed away exactly one month ago today.  Her memories still linger on in our minds and the feeling of grief is still fresh.

This is especially so for Abah who lost his life partner of 43years. He lost a wife, a soul partner, a best friend and a lover, all in one go.  He is coping the best he can but he keeps telling us that he feels that his time on earth is not long either. He is having difficulty breathing sometimes but he refuses to go to the clinic to get checked out. He even stopped taking his vitamins that he takes religiously when mama was still around. It’s like he wants to join mama.

It’s so sad to see him like this but there is nothing we can do except to just give him moral support and be with him so that he does not feel lonely. My sister-in-law would stay with him in the morning through lunch and Azwaj and myself would visit him in the evenings and stay with him through dinner. Our only hope is he stays strong and not give up on living.

We've Moved to Wordpress

I finally did it. I finally moved this blog to wordpress too which makes the transition complete for all my self hosted domain. I feel so complete now.. lol!.

The only two blogs that is left on Blogger is my make money and food blog which I am leaving on blogspot for personal reasons. But.. phew.. I wish moving my blogs were that as easy as getting free life insurance quote online. The transition wasn’t without flaws. Although I managed to move all blog posts, some comments over at my main blog, LadyJava’s Lounge, went missing for older entries. I really feel bad for that but I will try to find another way to import those as well..
