Never Enough Space

Who does not love extra storage space. I know I would. In fact, I think one can never have enough storage space and that even if I had a huge house to myself and given one of those tiger steel buildings, I could so easily fill them out both with my stuff.. lol!

I’ve been trying nonetheless to try to do some spring cleaning in time for Raya but the more I clean the more I seem to bring out of stuff from boxes then into them for storage.. Hmm.. something wrong somewhere there..hehe

Need To Shop

Busy busy bee.. that’s what I am.. I’ve just submitted a quotation for a new project and now waiting to see if all will go through. On the personal side, I seriously need to go shopping for a new outfit for a special event on Sunday… It’s so hard to find something you like last minute but I sure will try my best to find something suitable.. after all it’s not rocket science and it’s definitely not like putting together one of those Olympia steel buildings right?

Thank Goodness for Medisave

Looking at my hospital bill this time around makes me proud to be a Singaporean. My bill came up to SGD5,614.98 in total but after the government grant of SGD4,299.02, I only have to pay SGD1,315.96. However I still don’t have to pay this amount as I have enough funds in my Medisave account to pay the full due sum. Thanks goodness or else I will be searching out payday loan for sure.

In case you’re wondering, Medisave is not an insurance policy per say. Every working individual in Singapore need to contribute to what we call a Central Provident Fund. Each month a small percentage of our pay is deducted. Then this amount is divided into three parts, an Ordinary account, a Special account and a Medisave account. As the name suggest, Medisave helps to pay for a portion or total amount of our hospital bill, if we qualify that is. As I met the criteria, my bill was paid for using my medisave account.
