I Want to Keep My Resolution

I am failing miserably in my 2012 New Year Resolution. Which one? Well the one that says I would try to sleep like a normal person and be awake during the day. I am getting enough sleep just at hours that some people might consider abnormal. Because of my sleeping habits, I normally have very very late dinner and by late I mean like 10pm or so… and it is not always easy to find food at that time. Like tonight for instance, by the time we arrived at our favorite restaurant, most of the items on the menu was already gone and I ended up having t bone steak instead. Now I don’t really mind having steak coz it was delicious but I something else in mind for dinner tonight and left with no choice just don’t rub me the wrong way.

Yummy !

Anyway, I will try to be more disciplined with my hours after my surgery next week. Here’s hoping I can keep my resolution 🙂

Party Time?

I am trying to rush out as much work as I can prior to my surgery next week. I got a client’s website to kick off on Friday and been so busy that sometimes I feel like a hermit not knowing what is going on in the blog world. I am also trying to not fall sick. When I went for my pre-op earlier in the month, I was sniffling away and the doctor was concern that I might be getting the flu but since there was no fever or no cough she told me to take care that does not happen as the surgery will have to be postponed if I do fall sick. This is even more so because I have asthma and if I am having cough or fever then I might get an attack while I am under anesthetic and they are worried they might be able to get the asthma attack under control and resuscitate me. Yikes!

Anyway, I’ll be so glad after all this over (God Willing). I can’t wait to be stress free from all this health issue that is bogging me down. Who knows.. I might even throw a party and get streamers and confetti by Artistry in Motion do all my decoration. Lol!  Also I love the idea of confetti raining on me as I do my celebratory dance.. I mean life is a celebration right?

 

Ok, back to work. Keeping a balance is not easy but I am trying for sure and so far so good..

My Guitarist Darling

Before knowing Azwaj, I have no knowledge of the musical instrument named Guitars. To me it just completes the ensemble of the keyboard and the drums to form a band.. lol. ..Now I have a much better appreciation of the instrument. I now know a little bit more of this instrument that my Azwaj plays and even knows that Rosewood and Ebony fretboard gives a warm, rounder sound while Maple has a bright and clear sound.

Azwaj has a few guitars that has the different fretboard and while he does not have any TASCAM Guitars, he has Fender, Ibanez, Hamer and Cort in his collection.
