Have I told you I got a new phone??!! Well I did.. Yeay!!!

The phone that I am using for my Singapore number, the Sony Ericsson keeps hanging on me, so I reckon it’s time to get a replacement.  I wanted a good phone but don’t really want to spend too much on it but I do know one thing.. I wanted a HTC phone because I simply love the internet passthrough feature  (works like reverse tethering where you share your pc internet connection with your phone via usb cable)  that it has.

So I shopped around online like some sort of  yo yos, bouncing from one shop to another  and found a store in Singapore that sold the HTC Rhyme at SGD390 which is relatively cheap as even in Malaysia, the cost is still around RM1400 (thereby saving me  about RM600!).

Anyway, here she is.. I would have loved to get the plum color casing as advertised but the shop only has this greyish green one but at the price I got I am not complaining.

htc rhyme has its own docking station

HTC Rhyme, made specially for women,  comes with a charm (that can dangled outside your handbag) that when attached to the audio jack will blink whenever you have a call. Handy to have when your phone is buried inside your bag somewhere. It also has it’s own docking station that can be used for charging and listening to your MP3. Super awesome!!!

Whenever I think about custom printed golf balls, I always remember this colleague I had at the last company I worked for. She loves golf ever since her hubby introduced her to it and has even joined her hubby in numerous gold tournaments. Her room is filled with medals and golf items. She was one lady easy to shop for… just buy her anything golf and you’ll put a nice big smile on her face..

Wonder whatever happened to her?

I am now in my Singapore home and recovering nicely after my surgery on 15th May. As I mentioned in my previous post, all went well with me only needing keyhole surgery. Although there is one more extra hole then the previous three in my surgery last year, I am thankful that I only have to heal from a keyhole surgery as opposed to a full bloom open one.

Anyway, I am thankful that this time I didn’t developed any fever that would need me to stay an additional night. As comfy as the hospital bed was with all the gadget, the frequent waking from the nurses to take my temperature and blood pressure and their mini ekg machine really get on my nerves especially if I was in my deep slumber. Getting back to sleep is such torture after that.

My bandages are due to be off on 20th and my appointment with the doctor is on 28th May. I am right now contemplating staying in Singapore for the whole duration especially since I don’t feel like travelling now and sitting in the bus for a solid 5hours but who know I may change my mind once my bandages are off. We’ll see.

In the meantime. I am taking it easy, making sure I walk around to get rid of all this carbon dioxide that they pumped into me for the surgery.. so.. don’t walk behind me.. lol!
