Sad News..

I got a phone call with very sad news. My aunt has just been diagnosed with cancer. The doctors aren’t sure which stage yet but she is going through more test this Friday to see if the cancer has spread to the bones. She has always been with me through my time of need and I wished I could be there for now giving her and her family support as they go through this.

I will definitely be there for her surgery but in the meantime, my prayers goes out to her.

The Guitarist Husband

You know you have a guitarist for a husband when you see him walking around the house with his ibanez guitar strapped around his shoulders. Azwaj is currently in one of his creative moods and I see him with his headphones and guitar plugin into the amplifier whenever he is not working. I don’t know if he is practicing for something or writing a song for me since it’s my birthday soon.. lol!

Facial Spa with Mom at Statice Wellness Spa (I120 Katong, Singapore)

On my last trip to Singapore, I decided that I would bring my mom for a facial spa day. So I looked around at Groupon Singapore and found a perfect one nearby where we live. So on 1st March, both me and mom went for a facial spa day.

The offer was really economical as for SGD$23, we got 75 min Facial, Face Mask, Eye Treatment, Eyebrow Trimming, Neck and Shoulder Massage plus an additional Ampoule treatment. My mom also got to experience her first real spa experience. How cool is that right?

All in all, it was a really nice experience for both of us and my mom told me her face never felt so smooth and clean before.. lol!
