Happy 44th Birthday to Me!

Yeap it’s my birthday for the 44th time this year and since 4 is my favourite number, double 4 makes it all the sweeter.

It already started on a great note with an awesome pool party on 8th March (I swore if it was on the 9th, I would have bought to cake and call it MY party) organised by my condo building. Yeah it wasn’t organised FOR me but rather the re-opening of the swimming pool but it sure felt like a party and I had a great time. We had tents, stage, GREAT food and lucky draw… and guess what.. little old me won something too! How awesome right?

Shopping for Sofa

We are on the lookout for a new sofa. Our existing sofa has really been a scratching post for the furkids and it really looks really worn out. So we decided to get a new one and just place the existing one at a corner that they like and really let them use it for their playtime.

We found something we liked yesterday and it was perfect coz it had metal support. Metal equal no scratch post right? lol. But since we are shopping, we will look around and decide after we’ve seen a few more. Anyway, we also saw some lcd tv going on sale but I told Azwaj that if ever we got one of these, we need to make sure that it is mountable on the wall  (the kids run like there’s someone chasing them and the whole tv cabinet would shake) or we have to get a flat mount for the tv.

Sad News..

I got a phone call with very sad news. My aunt has just been diagnosed with cancer. The doctors aren’t sure which stage yet but she is going through more test this Friday to see if the cancer has spread to the bones. She has always been with me through my time of need and I wished I could be there for now giving her and her family support as they go through this.

I will definitely be there for her surgery but in the meantime, my prayers goes out to her.
