Youth Wasted

“You don’t have to go to Harvard to know the signs of a drug addict”, I was telling my friend the other day.

I was referring to this teenager who was loitering at the bus-stop near our block. He was sloppy with half droopy eyes and sunken cheeks and he was begging for money at the bus-stop. This was not the first time I saw him. The last time he asked money from me was five months ago when I was last in Singapore. I didn’t give him any then and I sure was not going to give him any that day either. I just shook my head when he approached me.

I would have thought someone would have caught him and placed him in a drug rehab facility already!

What a waste of youth I say!

If you have not seen this movie, Music and Lyrics, starring Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore, and if you happen to love romantic comedy.. this is the movie to watch.. I’m just sorry I did not watch it sooner.. As I mentioned in LadyJava’s Lounge, I watched this movie once daily for the whole duration of my stay in Singapore! Can you believe that?! LOL! YES! I enjoyed it that much! I’ve always love Drew Barrymore but Hugh Grant was a total surprise.. I love this voice.. hehe..

Anyway.. this is the song he wrote to win Sophie (Drew Barrymore) back after a tiff they had… Enjoy!!

Miracle Cure

Usually when I come home to Singapore.. me and mommy would have lots to talk about.. from daily events to happenings with relatives and mutual people we both knows. It seems this time around, there is a miracle cure that is helping all those that we love with their illnesses.. from not being able to walk, some of these people are now walking again.. from a face full of acnes, their faces are now all clear using the acne products that is being recommended by the program.

I’ve yet to investigate further into this miracle cure but I like what I am hearing.. Will research more and update you guys as I go along 🙂
